The main page is the short version. Here's the full picture: what's built in, what works alongside your existing tools, and the questions operators actually ask.
Where NEMTMark fits
Reservation tools and broker portals get a trip into your queue. From there, most operators fall back to spreadsheets, phone calls, and separate billing. NEMTMark is the operations layer that ties it together.
The specifics
The overview lives on the home page, sorted by what you’re trying to fix. This is the layer underneath it — the mechanics operators ask about once they know what NEMTMark is.
Runs as an installable app on the driver’s phone — trips, navigation, timeclock, and messages in one place. No app-store download required to get a driver working.
Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection checklists from the driver’s phone. Defects route straight to dispatch rather than sitting on a clipboard until someone notices.
An expired or missing credential blocks assignment. A supervisor can override to keep a patient moving — and the override is recorded with who and when, so the exception is visible at audit instead of invisible.
Every view of patient information is logged. Driver-time corrections and trip changes are append-only — an entry can be superseded, never quietly rewritten, and the person is stamped by the server rather than the browser.
Oil changes, tire rotations and DOT inspections are tracked per vehicle on their own due dates — so the reminder names the job that is due rather than saying “service” and leaving you to find out which.
Seat count, wheelchair positions and stretcher capability are limits the optimizer cannot violate — not preferences it weighs against saved miles. A plan that doesn’t fit the rider is never proposed.
Built-in vs. integration — straight
We'd rather do the parts we do well and hand off cleanly than claim an integration that isn't real.
In NEMTMark, one login, no add-ons.
By clean hand-off, not a black box.
Questions operators ask
No. NEMTMark is the assistant that runs the operation after a trip is booked — dispatch, drivers, compliance, and billing. However trips reach you today, NEMTMark takes it from there.
It's diligence you don't have to do by hand. NEMTMark tracks the dates that matter (service intervals, DOT inspections, license and medical-card expirations) and surfaces them before they lapse. Expired driver or vehicle requirements block a new assignment until they're resolved, with an audited supervisor override when you decide to allow one.
NEMTMark turns completed trips into itemized invoices on your rates and contract terms, and reconciles them against the broker and Medicaid payments you record — so you can see exactly what's outstanding. Claim submission itself still runs through your existing broker portal or clearinghouse; NEMTMark gets the numbers clean and documented first.
NEMTMark tracks clocked hours and produces a payroll-ready export (CSV and xlsx) you hand to your payroll software; it doesn't calculate overtime or cut checks itself. Billing and payment data exports for your accountant. We'd rather hand off cleanly than claim an integration that isn't real.
NEMT touches PHI, and NEMTMark is built with that in mind. We operate as a Business Associate under a separate BAA and handle PHI under it. We say HIPAA-aware, not “HIPAA-certified” — there's no such thing, and no software makes your organization compliant on its own. We're glad to walk through our BAA and safeguards before you share anything.
