NEMTMark is dispatch and operations software built for non-emergency medical transport. It runs the entire job — booking, scheduling, dispatch, the driver’s phone, compliance, timecards and billing — in one place, instead of a whiteboard, three spreadsheets and a group text.
And it keeps a hand on the things that are easy to forget: the service that’s due, the inspection coming up, the credential about to lapse. A guiding hand, not just a schedule.
Live dispatch — a NEMT day in motion
What you get
Every plan includes all of it. Start with whichever of these is costing you the most right now — the tools that deliver it are underneath.
Build the day, assign the crews, and watch it run — without rebuilding the board every time something moves.
Every ride for the day in one view — standing orders, offered, en route, completed. Assign a driver and vehicle together; conflicts surface before they bite.
Driver availability, shifts and time off feed the board, so you aren’t assigning someone who is already booked or off today.
Assign the day’s trips across your crews to cut deadhead — honoring shifts, vehicle downtime, accessibility and seat capacity. Suggestions only; nothing changes until you apply it.
See where the fleet actually is on the dispatch map, so you can answer “where’s my ride?” without calling the driver.
Is the day itself what’s eating your morning?
See this on your operationThe work isn’t done until the money’s in. Completed trips become invoices on your rates — not a re-typing job at the end of the month.
Bill a month of rides in one pass — single, batched, or per pay period, itemized on the rates you already set.
Every invoice shows paid, partial, past-due or still-to-invoice, so nothing quietly slips out of AR.
Rides you send out and rides you take in are tracked with what’s owed each way, and settled per affiliate — the customer still stays yours.
Send a secure payment link or a self-serve pay page; paid invoices reconcile themselves. Card data runs through Stripe and never touches NEMTMark. Off until you turn it on.
Is billing where your month disappears?
See this on your operationThe expensive things are the ones nobody was watching. NEMTMark watches them and tells you before they’re a problem — not after.
Licenses, medicals, and the documents in a driver file — with expiry dates tracked. An expired required credential blocks assignment, so a lapsed driver can’t quietly end up on a run.
Oil, tires, inspections and service dates surface as a next-due status per vehicle, and maintenance windows keep a down vehicle off the board.
Protecting patient information
NEMT runs on protected health information, so “we take privacy seriously” isn’t an answer. Protecting it takes two layers: the infrastructure your data sits on, and the application built on top of it. Here is what is true at each, and what it means for you.
The infrastructure — covered by a signed Business Associate Agreement
| The safeguard | What this means for you |
|---|---|
| A signed BAA with our infrastructure provider | The company hosting your data is contractually bound to HIPAA safeguards — a signed agreement, not a promise on a website. |
| Encrypted in transit and at rest | Patient information is encrypted travelling between the app and the database, and while it sits stored. |
| 28-day point-in-time recovery | If records are corrupted or wrongly deleted, the database can be restored to a specific moment in the last 28 days — not just to last night’s backup. |
| Breach-notification obligations | If the platform has a security incident, they are contractually required to tell us — so we can tell you, within the timelines HIPAA expects. |
The application — what we built, and are responsible for
| The safeguard | What this means for you |
|---|---|
| Patient details never sit on the phone | Trip screens are pulled fresh and stored nowhere on the device. A lost or stolen driver phone carries no patient information. |
| Signing out clears the device | When a driver leaves or hands the phone back, what was held is wiped — you don’t have to trust a phone to forget. |
| Access to patient records is recorded | You can answer “who opened this record, and when” — the question a payer or an investigator actually asks. |
| That record can’t be edited afterwards | Entries are append-only and the person is stamped by the server, so nobody — including an administrator — can quietly rewrite the history. |
| Your data is walled off at the database | Separation between operators is enforced by the database itself, not by application code remembering to check. Another company on NEMTMark cannot reach your records. |
| Drivers see only their own trips | A driver’s app shows their assigned runs and nothing else — not your client list, not another driver’s day. |
| Idle screens log themselves out | An unattended dispatch screen ends its own session after 30 minutes, with a warning first. The open laptop in a shared office stops being a risk. |
| People get only the access their job needs | Dispatch, accounting, admin and driver are separate authorities. Someone doing billing doesn’t get the whole system. |
| AI features stay off unless deliberately enabled | Document-reading features fail closed when they aren’t configured, so patient information is never quietly sent to an outside AI service. |
Why we describe it in two layers. A signed infrastructure BAA covers the platform — it does not, on its own, make an application safe. The agreement explicitly leaves access control, key management and authentication to us, which is why the second table exists and why it is specific. We say HIPAA-aware and BAA-backed deliberately: there is no such thing as a “HIPAA-certified” product, and no software makes your organization compliant on its own. Where your use of NEMTMark involves PHI, we act as a Business Associate under a separate BAA with you — happy to share it and walk through any row above before you send us anything.
Worried about the things nobody is watching?
See this on your operationThe driver sees today’s work on their phone and you see it come back — without the group text and the call-for-an-update.
Trips, navigation, timeclock and messages in one place on the driver’s phone — pulled fresh each time, stored nowhere on the device. If a phone is lost, stolen, or handed back by a driver who has left, it carries no patient information.
Dispatch offers a ride, the driver accepts or declines with a reason, and the board shows what’s still unacknowledged — so silence isn’t mistaken for agreement.
The dialysis run that happens three times a week is set once and generated for you, instead of re-entered every week.
Driver and dispatch talk in the app, with unread flags on both sides, so the thread lives with the ride instead of someone’s texts.
Tired of the group text and the call-for-an-update?
See this on your operationAdding vans and drivers shouldn’t mean adding spreadsheets. You get the whole platform at every size — nothing to unlock later.
Plans differ by driver count, not by features. The small operator gets the same compliance guardrails and billing depth as the large one — because that’s who needs them most.
Clock in and out on the driver app, review and correct the week, and export the pay period — instead of reconstructing hours from memory.
Trips, drivers, vehicles, receivables and profitability — the numbers to see what’s actually working before you buy another van.
Clients, contacts, facilities and their standing requirements in one place, so the details travel with the ride instead of living in one person’s head.
A request page facilities can book through, landing in your queue instead of your voicemail. In build — ask us where it stands.
A guided pass to clear duplicates and fill the gaps in the list you bring with you. In build — ask us where it stands.

A quick look at where NEMTMark earns its keep. (Illustrative product views — example data only.)
Every trip in one place, moving through standing orders, offered, en route, and completed. Assign a driver and accessible vehicle in a click, and see status change the moment it happens.
Maintenance, inspections, and credential expirations surface as plain, dated alerts — early enough to act. An expired requirement blocks a new assignment until it's resolved.

Request a consultationCompliance posture
Non-emergency medical transport touches protected health information, and NEMTMark is designed with that in mind. Where your use of the Service involves PHI, NEMTMark acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA and handles that information under a separate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) — not under this website's privacy policy. This marketing site itself collects no PHI.
We say HIPAA-aware and BAA-backed deliberately. There is no such thing as a “HIPAA-certified” product, and we don't claim to make your organization compliant on its own. NEMTMark provides the platform and, under a BAA, HIPAA-aligned handling of PHI; your regulatory compliance program remains yours. If you'd like to review our BAA and safeguards before sharing any PHI, just ask.
